Perform complex medical laboratory tests for diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease. May train or supervise staff.
Analyze chromosomes found in biological specimens such as amniotic fluids, bone marrow, and blood to aid in the study, diagnosis, or treatment of genetic diseases.
