Usually work under direction of engineering staff.

Repair, maintain, or install electric motors, wiring, or switches.
Repair, test, adjust, or install electronic equipment, such as industrial controls, transmitters, and antennas.
Repair only one system or component on a vehicle, such as brakes, suspension, or radiator.
